That is a pretty awesome pit light. Does it always have to be plugged in or does it have a battery backup also?

Always plugged in but I'm sure you could rig up a battery. But it's a pretty high wattage led light. And an extra sub port at your out table is perfect.

All folds flat but the base, but what's nice about that is the base can be screwed off with a thumb screw. if needed to be fit into your pit box

After owning a led lamp i will not be buying another. I got one a home depot and it lasted a few months and some of the led started blinking and eventually quit. With no way to replace them im out $45. So no more led for me

Let me be a little more clear. The whole row(5 total leds) blinks ans quits.

That sounds more like a wiring or connector issue or similar quality problem rather than a led issue?

Couldn't agree more. Or a bad resistor. LEDs are known for how long they last and their light output. There's a reason why newer cars are upgrading to led tail lights and even headlights

Looks pretty sweet... I love my muchmore pit light, but I'll give this one a shot for the cheap price tag.

This is a cheap solution. I have a rei's battery pack with 4 rechargable AA's or I plug it into my charger USB port. It could be powered for hours off a USB battery pack. I keep this on my pit table and use a run of the mill drop light for the canopy. Hope this helps.

I was looking at some LED lamps at home depot for around 30-40 bucks. At this point anything would be better than my camping LED lantern

what i dont like about the muchmore lights is that the light isnt very wide. it only shine directly under neath it. this lamp has a light diffuser in it that directs light in all directions. I will post pics of it when i get home tonight
