Viper Copperhead-R VX4.45 combo problem
#1
I bought a used Viper Copperhead-R VX4.45 combo and the other day when I was running it I noticed my servo was severely off center, in fact so bad that I needed to remove the horn and redo all my trims to recenter it. So I turned off the esc and took it down to my area in the basement and took the body off and took the servo horn off and then proceeded to turn the radio on and reset my servo settings then turned the esc back on to get the servo centered and spent the next couple of minutes getting the tires straight and putting the servo horn back on. Got everything back to where it should be then turned the esc back off and proceeded to run my vehicle outside again and upon turning the esc back on the power light came on and the neutral light as well and then it switched itself off and would not run. Thinking it may be the battery I pulled out a freshly charged and balanced battery and the esc did the exact same thing, forgot to mention the fan didn't turn on at all on either occasion.
It ran great before all of this happened. No burning, no smoke, no odd sounds, no exposed wires anywhere that would short it out, use deans connectors so it didn't get plugged in backwards yes black wire to black wire and red to red. For the life of me I cannot figure this out and I don't have a warranty anymore so if it's a simple fix that I may have over looked that would be great but I really liked this system and any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
