Castle XL2 will work on 7s?
#2
As I understand it they should work on less than 8S just fine until you try a single cell. When you plug in a battery to a castle ESC it counts off beeps, that is counting cells, if you hear 7 then the LVC knows what it is dealing with.

Yes it'll run fine. As default out of the box the XL2 will auto count the cells based on voltage. You can listen to it count them by motor tones when you connect the battery. This also auto sets the LVC. The xl2 works fine from 4s-8s.

Yes, thank you! That's what i want, ladies ignoring me

Cause i want my rc's to stay on the ground and not on the walls or flying cause i am looking at skirts!
As for kids...we all look ones playing with this control remote toys!
Don't worry to much...that's my problem!
I do not do rc tracks, except mini-z's!
Just playing around with some speed bashing's down the streets and ocasionnally speeding on grass. Motor is to weak so it will toast, anyway

Thanks for all the other's who say the XL2 will beep for 7s. That's what i needed to ear.
Soon it will all be unleashed and breaked. But fun is the major player!
