Default High voltage servo

I have a savox 7.4v servo and a spektrum sr300 receiver. The car runs on 2s.

How can I wire it so the servo will see 7.4v and the receiver won't crap itself? The esc will only supply 6v.

That is one way.

The SR300 receiver is rated for up to 9.6V, should be able to run it on 2S too though. Just be sure to disconnect and insulate the red/positive servo lead from the ESC of course.

Oops, corrected my first post. If using the KO servo lead that you linked the ESC red/positive servo lead still needs to be connected to the receiver, to provide it power.
