Default Mamba monster question

Are two 50c (100c burst) 3s 2200mah lipo battery packs ok to use with the mamba monster?

I'm assuming you're running them in series to get 6S....the discharge rate (2200mah X 50C= 110A discharge) is awfully low, let alone runtime. I know Castle themselves wouldn't recommend it. If parallel, the discharge rate (4400mah x 50C = 220A discharge) would be ok but speed and torque would be severely lacking. Whats this in and what motor are you running?

I have a e revo mamba monster. What is the equation you used to determine the amperage?

If you're going to run 6S in an E-Revo, you'll want around a 150A discharge to be on the safe side IMO.....mah (ie: 4000) x C rating (ie: 40C) = discharge. That example would give a 160A discharge. Even if you have say, a 25C lipo but with 6000 mah, that would give you a 150A discharge.

I wouldn't run those lipo's you have, too low a discharge AND runtime IMO.
