My sons radio all of a sudden wont allow us to use any of the program buttons. It still works fine, but its like its locked up.

anyone have one of these and know how to do a hard reset or something. He loves the radio, but if its dead its dead

You probably have tried it, but have you tried disconnect the battery, leave for some minutes, reattach the battery?

Other than that it surely sounds like some "key lock" function. I had an MX-3X but don't remember it to have such a function.

Yeah I tried the battery thing. It acts like there is a keyboard lock, but I cant find anything online or in the manual that says anything
