M12 and Mt-4s now share identical speed ratings.

I'd opt for the MT-4s and save a ton of cash. I have the MT-4 coming from a 4PL and the only thing it lacked was the backlit screen which I ordered and installed this past weekend. Now perfect for my needs which is competitive racing at local and state events and I find it to take input instantly without and delay. I run 2WD Mod, 4WD Mod and ST Mod. The radio is fantastic.

That's new and SANWA changed the original statement under the description that read the MT-4s has the same response time as the M12. Now it says speeds "approaching" the M12. LOL

Either way the MT-4 is more than fast enough for ANY racer and with the new "S" model "Approaching" M12 speeds, no one will notice any difference. I still say save the additional coin and free up cash to buy more necessary things.

I have both M12 and Ko EX1... The speed is about the same. But the boot up time on M12 is slower compared to Ko EX1. KO EX1 is more comfortable than M12 however M12 is a lot lighter.

I bought an m12 and will never look back. The new futaba radio is trying to be as fast as the m12 but still isn't even though it's supposedly %30 faster. The M12 is the best radio I've owned, I had a 4pks-r before.
