I've just started racing recently in the VTA class and just added a 17.5 TC class too. So I'm in need of a new radio, currently have a Spektrum DX2.0. What would be a good radio to get with all the little adjustments not really interested in having telemetry but its not a deal breaker. I've looked at the Futaba 4pl, Airtronics MX-V, and Airtronics MT-4. Is telemetry useful at all in electric TC? What would be suggested to get?

I have an MT-4 and it does everything I need. I do not use the telemetry. I bought it for the better response over the Spektrum I had.

Everyone at my track has MT4's and they love them, they are reliable inexpensive remotes that do everything you could possibly need.

From the reading that I have done it seems the MT4 is the one I'm leaning too. Can I use the FHSS-2 RX with the MT4?

+1 for MT-4 and yes you can use FHSS-2 Airtronics receivers with it.
