Guys

i am sure it was discussed before but didnt find it.
i have purchase a used 4px tranmitter yesterday and try to link it with my receivers...
the original that comes with the transmitter receiver T-FHSS was no problem.
push the button on the receiver click the link option in the transmitter and it find it in 10 sec.

second one R2104GF S-FHSS there is no link option in the transmitter when i moved it to S-FHSS. i try just to push the receiver button maybe it will link but no, it turns from blink green to blink red...
any advise

Their S-FHSS receivers are a pain to link, even following their instructions it doesnt always work, I guess you just have to keep trying

Place the transmitter and the receiver close to each other within one (1) meter
Turn on the transmitter and the receiver.
Push and hold the Link switch on the receiver.
When the link is complete, the LED on the receiver changes to solid green.

Well that's what I was looking for. I was going to get a 4px for my son because I really like mine and all I see are the 4pv and 7px on Amain. The $699 price on the 7px and a lot of extras on the radio I would never use so it looks like I better take good care of my 4px

The steering issue is finally catching up to me and it feels like Im driving with a tremor in my arm. Have to resort to cleaning the pot whenever the issue resurface again. Also I had 2 receiver having power problems causing my AMB transponder failing to register any laps. I had to dig out a 3rd receiver to have that problem sorted.

Just waiting for the M17 to come out and will be saying goodbye to Futaba.

My friend who owned the 4PX had problem with his before he sold it for a M12S and have experience with cleaning the radio. I think he used some sort of electronic contact cleaner of some sort. It worked perfectly after the quick clean, but within a few month the jitters came back.

Im not going to waste anymore money on steer units when I already have my mind set on buying the M17

well is a shame your so far away, if you decide to sell that 4px I may be interested.

Nothing my local mail service cant handle haha. But its not in the best condition, I dropped it a few times so it has a few scratches and nicks.

Does anyone use the Castle telemetry link with their 4PX? I am trying to see if there is a way to change the order of the sensors so I can have the battery voltage, ESC temp and rpm on the first page instead having to scroll through 3 pages to see all of the info.

Hmm.. I didn't know they made a bigger wheel. I wonder if it will work with the 4PX.

I was browsing the 7PX Page, and noted they had the 41mm and a bigger 46mm wheel.

Just as an FYI the older style Wheel from the 4PL(S) is a direct fit as well.

Got confirmation from Futaba the 7px wheel is a direct fit with the hex adapter that is standard on the 4px

And there it is, the 41mm 7px wheel on the 4px. Love the scalloped foam. Guess the 4PX wheel needs a new home.
