I haven't had any luck with Spektrum 6070 or Savox Low profile servo's. My Spektrum just died after 3 weeks of racing. It is in an RB6. I don't feel like moving electronics around to fit a full size servo. Any of you using a good Low Profile that has lasted a long time?

Futaba BLS551 will outlive this car and your next dozen. I'm using one in a 2w mod buggy and couldn't be happier.

Nailed it. Great servo and pretty much bomb proof.

The futaba is a bit expensive. I use the Sanwa ERS-971 it's water proof as well. Brilliant servo for the money.

I don't need inexpensive I just want something that works. And the Savox and Spektrum's didnt die but they strip gears easily. The Futaba ever strip a gear?

At this point, I'm pretty convinced you'd have to hit the Futaba with a sledgehammer to stop it. I thought I stripped a gear in the Futaba once - turned out to be the servo horn.

Ok, I will try the futaba. Is the BLS451 full size servo a good choice for 2wd stadium truck and short course?

That is in fact the servo I have used in those two classes. Highly recommended as well.

The ko low profile isnt much more as looks. pretty nice

Futaba BLS551 or KOpropo RSX one10. I prefer the KO over the futaba, it just feels a little smoother and quicker, but both are good servos. Also the KO is rated to 7.4v and the Futaba 6v.

I use a BLS351 in my 4wd Buggy, a BLS451 in my 2wd Buggy and a BLS551 in my TC. You can't kill them!

I found out that Xpert brushless servos are good on quality and price as well...
Anyway, you can't go wrong with servo from some Big names like Futaba, Sanwa, KO, etc.

If you don't want to pay the cost of the brushless Futabas, then you might try their 9551, I've been using them in most of my cars(in 2 touring cars & in my 2WD & 4WD buggies) & NONE of them have had a single problem yet(had them for several years now), & they can be had for around $80....
