Default Quick question on ESC

What is the difference between boost and turbo timing? my esc offers both and im trying to figure out which one is best for my use. i have boost set at zero and turbo timing at 10*. We run 2wd mod buggy and SCT.

They are the same in that they both up the timing to get more RPM out of the motor..

Except that Turbo will only kick in after a measure of time on full throttle.. meant to give an extra kick of speed on long straights. I think a common delay is like a half second of buried throttle.

Turbo is a very bad idea on a hot motor... with it a full pull on the trigger can cause you to break traction and fishtail when you are planning to go straight and fast. I use it on my 17.5 buggy, but not my 8.5.

Boost is ESC timing throughout the entire RPM band, Turbo kicks in at a set RPM.
