i more or less knew that, and it seems that fans do not last long. so i wanted to know if some how the fans getting voltage exceeding what it can actually handle?
my fans are for the motors, being the TrackPower MS-1 and the Viper
BE do not need them.

Love my trakpower ms1
What fans have you been using? I've had the same motor fan for almost a year now on my onroad car, can't remember which one I'll have to check when I get home, but I will agree before that one I went thru a lot.

i have Integy, CC and lookn' for good replacements.
looked into Muchmore Racing, Yeah Racing, they all seem similar.
i purchased a couple of the I's for the heat sink bling and being i do not need them for my esc.s (LT4) came with a nice very fast sounding fan and
it seems Stan has those replacements for sale but are 25mmx25mm
where as the others are 30mmx30mm
there is not a lot of info other they don't last or blades are breaking.
and has anyone used this? http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...r-Cooler-Black
have not installed the MS-1 yet, just recvd' it a week ago it's for a future
project.

I refuse to use fans that have a plastic frame (not the fan itself, but the part that wraps the motor). Seems like you are putting a blanket on the motor that would trap almost as much heat as the fan could chase off.
I am also in the camp that you should not do your setup to depend on the fan to keep the motor cool enough. A fan is fine, but it should not be critical. And in a buggy vs short course chassis the body is much tighter around things not letting as much natural air flow happen, so if you do not have air coming into the body in the first place you are just recycling hot air (except of course for rear motor 2wd). And in those holes are a bigger deal than a fan to me.
