LRP Flow Comp setup issues
#1
Hey all,
I have new build with LRP Flow Comp ESC, Spektrum 3100 rcvr, SAVOX 1252 servo, Novak Boss VTA edition 25.5 motor and Reedy 5500mah battery. I'm using a DX3R Pro Radio.
I can't seem to get the Radio and ESC to work properly. I've calibrated the DX3R and bound it to the 3100. (many times now). After doing that I get the servo centering to the left, but I can turn right and left with Radio wheel. The throttle does not respond going forward, but if I hit brake, then the motor spins momentarily.
I'm a newb at this, and was wondering if someone has a walk through that will get this thing working. I've studied all the directions for the ESC and the Radio, but no joy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JB

Have you tried to set the speed control yet? Follow the directions regarding ESC to Radio setup supplied by LRP.
Set your throttle and brake EPA to 100 and follow the esc setup directions.

If this is a new build, before you put the servo arm/saver on, make sure your radio trim is set to zero and servo is at true zero before putting the servo saver on. ESC has to be programmed to radio before anything will work properly.
