Default Castle Cogging Issues. HELP

Hey everybody.....very frustrated right now, so please be kind with your responses...lol

I just lit a brand new 1800kv leopard on fire and almost did it again with a 1700kv xcelorin. I wired them to a mamba minster that is programmed at default and am running this set up in a losi muggy. First I plugged in the leopard on 4s lipo and it clogged really badly and then lit on fire after feathering the throttle. Then I plugged the xcelorin in, which worked fine yesterday, and it did fine at low speeds for a moment or two and when I tried accelerating a bit harder it started cogging very badly, so I turned it off immediately so as not to waste another $100 today. All that changed is I went from a 15t pinion to 19t.

I was told I may need to adjust the timing as the cogging showed up when I plugged in the 1700, the 2200 castle was smooth as silk. I only run this combo on 4 and 5s lipos, and I am completely at a loss....

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!!

Oh and before you ask....I took the 2200 out because I wanted more low end torque and that motor does better in my 8t anyways
