Since he is obviously a noob, I would suggest charging each 2S pack individually. Later on when you get more comfortable charging, you can jump to multi pack charging.
I assume this is what you have, just named Venom

I guess the reading comprehension has dropped in this country, He has TWO 2S packs, ran in series equals=4 cells.
NOT 1S packs. NOT 2X1S packs in series, but two individual 2S packs. he confirmed that EACH pack is 2S, NOT 1S
That's pretty simple right? You guys have at it, he'll be so confused he won't know what to do.
Just to settle this, OP can you post a picture of both batteries labels? That will show what cell count they are.

2s2p (which he said he has) is essentially a 2s made of 4 lipo cells. but i don't know any saddles that are wire like that. they are usually (all that i know) wired as 2s1p. and these are saddles, since he said they were going in a b44. and if they are saddles, they each say 2s on the case, as you don't run just ½ of a lipo saddle pack as a single 1s battery.just as a side note. who runs 4s in a 4wd buggy?

then why did he say saddles?

Just need to make sure what he has before the proper procedure can be explained on charging.

I understand what Dave is saying, but OP claims it says 2S/ 7.4 volts on it. If it's a dual cell wired internally as a single, how can a charger monitor each of the two cells in the pack during charging? You would have to have a parallel board for each 2S connector, EACH battery having 2 cells lol. Now as to who runs dual 7.4 volt batteries in series, 14.8/ fully charged is 16.8 volts, which equals 4S, apparently everyone that runs dual seried packs of this type, is running at 4S voltage.
No battery manufacturer would ever label a single battery with combined voltage of two, assuming you will be using them in pairs. That's against the law, feds would be all over that. If a battery is lost, the improper label would cause improper charging.
Lol, I think we need a picture of both packs.

Lol, so that means, per the label, I can charge each at 7.4 volts, and then hook them in series and run them, right? And not have 14.8 (4S) volts shooting through my system. How that could not happen, eludes me lol.
