Default Old school brushed question Help!

Got a Trinity D3.5 brushed from the 90's, has "98" stamped on the endbell. Trying to find out how many turns this might have. Any help is greatly appreciated, and yes I looked at the armature already. Nothing is stamped on it.
Any ideas?

The 98 has nothing to do with the amount of turns. May even be the year of manufacture. More info is needed, possibly a picture of the armature?

I knew that the 98 has nothing to do with the # of turns, was thinking it has something to do with date of manufacture. I'll get a pic up soon.
Thanks for the reply.

Well...it's not a 17.5. I can tell you that much! It's a mod, looks like 4 wire. Hard to tell on number of turns though.

of coarse it isnt a 17.5 turn, half turns arent possible with brushed motors.

about all we can tell from those pics is its a mod motor, and a quad winding. unless there is some markings somewhere on it the only way to find out what it is would be to unwind it. myself, id stick it in something on 6s nimh or 2s lipo with an esc with no motor limit and see how it feels. maybe see if you can find an old time touring car racer, see what they think.

If i remember correctly that is the R.O.A.R approved date stamp you see, nothing to do with turns.
