Default odd issue

ok here is the deal I got a couple of cars at a yard sale and have peiced them together. one seems to work fine the other is another story. It is a tmaxx 2.5 that I have put some left over servos in to get it running two are Hitec the other is a duratec, and the stock traxxas reciver. the radio and is 2chan the recive is 3 so i just figured no reverse. the problem is the throttle servo will just randomly swing. it does it more if I use the easy start but gets real bad if I hook up a normal glowplug heater. any thoughts

I'm guessing it's not a 2.4Ghz radio? It's pretty common for the old am and fm radios to glitch when you apply glow starters etc to the engine. It'll even do it if you rattle a screwdriver around the engine head. So long as it doesn't do it while driving you'll be fine.

Thanks Dan, I am not sure off the top of my head if its a 2.4 or not. I will check when I am home next. Also what would be a good radio to use for a few dif cars. I have a slash that was bought at the same time as my sons so we could play together, the Tmaxx and a KYOSHO.
