Default Motor for bashing

what's a brushless motor that's cheap in price, decent motor for use in bashing? I'm new to this stuff, so any help is appreciated.

Hobbyking's stuff is really cheap and for bashing, I'm sure it works fine. Heck, for the price of a high end tekin esc and motor, you can get a RTR trooper for less money lol and it even comes with a lipo

^^^ they are pretty cheap for the quality you get, and plus, you support my local economy (they're a few miles up the road from me)

any good working used 6.5 usually about $35-40 shipped...
Any motor will eventually need a set of bearings, & they always need a occasional drop of oil on the bearings.
I have a couple of old LRP X11's that have been rock solid.

An ESC with a touch of boost or turbo & watch motor temps & sky's the limit.

I use 4pole motors in my 4x4 SCT's...

lots of variables at play, so we'd need more details on your gear, but i run a 4300 kv motor with 16t pinion and on a 6500 mah lipo, and my esc set to 80% current limit, get about 20 minutes around the track. my 7200 mah feels like it gets around 25 minutes or so. Showing up with both of those lipos charged gets me close to an hour of practice time. I've never timed it, but that's what I would guess.
