Default Hi tec x4 charging problems help or suggestions?

I purchased a X4 AC plus charger recently. It charged the first couple of times fine, but then port one would not stop charging. The charger would get to .1 left of charging and would not go past that and would not reach full. I can move the battery to other ports and it will rech full and stop charging.

I tried other batteries on port one same results, so I am confident its the charger. called hitec they said its a calibration issues and would have to be returned. got a second charger and it worked fine, but now have the same issue as the firs but on port two.

Anyone else have issues with this charger???? It only does this when I balance charge. It will reach full on non balance charge and shut off.

Last what chargers are others using and having good luck with? i run two cars so having a charger to charge more than one battery is handy to have and less clutter.

I have 2 ports out on mine. They said to return it for warranty work. But i havent yet because that would leave me without a charger for a few weeks.

I have seen ports go out on these locally, they sent them in for warranty. Its a cheaply made charger for those without a PS that want to change 4 packs at a low amperage. IMO its a budget charger. So far hyperion and Powerlabs are my favs

btw, skyRC makes them. I don't own the AC version. I have the standard one.
I do notice the same thing on balance charge. also fast charge doesn't seem to put them up to full completely.

I returned a non working thunder power charger for this hitec. thankfully I bought it at the local shop. so that's one brand I would be hesitant to buy again. that and trakpower power supplies. the 1st one I had to return for a defective fan. now the 2nd one fans are doing what the first one did. loud screeching and chatter.

This charger is garbage!!! I have one port that will charge a 4S but it varies each time you use it which one it is. Next time it only shows 3 cells when charging a 4S also it will show 3 cells all the same but 1 cell will be really low 1.8 would never buy this thing again.

Could it be your battery?

As for the other comments (I know this is an old thread) I have a couple of batteries that get to the. 1 charge rate and stay there forever. The charge never finishes. Whatever. I take them off and use them.
