Thanks,

I was thinking you should change the profile settings and ignore the "factory default" settings.
that's the only idea I can come up with. unless you have a defective esc I think it's a radio or esc setting causing the issue.

I have tried different dead band settings and it resulted in no throttle at all. so I immediately thought that could be your issue. I also thought of maybe your sensor wire is bad if you are using one.
just throwing some ideas out there.

At this point just call Novak, I'm sure their techs are better suited to help figure this out.

Thanks, I tried changing the dead band settings, no joy. I think the sensor wire is good, if I leave it unplugged, the ESC lights up a couple of LEDs.

I heard back from Novak, they think it is most likely the motor since the lights on the ESC are acting properly. I am buying another motor and sensor wire to test it with...my other sensored brushless motors are installed and it is not worth the trouble to undo them for troubleshooting.

OK - I completely mis-read the post.

The first thing I would suggest knowing that it's a DX3R-Pro is to reset the model - then make sure that you recalibrate the radio... Both are in the same menu if memory serves me correctly. I ran into a similar issue a while back, resetting the radio and using a different model cured the issue.

The second thing I would check is what you have your exponential set at. Make sure it is set at 0.

Thanks to everyone for the various suggestions. It tried them all, turns out the ESC was bad, put a new one in today and it worked great.
