Default Question about 2.4 receiver binding and ESC BEC problems

I have a Turnigy 3XS radio from Hobby King with the Hk3100 receiver. I'm having problems binding it and I'm wondering if it has to do with my Novak GTB ESC and it's attached BEC? I follow all the instructions and youtube videos I can but it does the same thing every time. After holding the bind button on the receiver, the motor throttles up really high and won't stop. It keeps running until I kill the power and still doesn't bind. I have tried many times trying different things but ultimately it does the same thing. Sometimes after holding bind the throttle pulses instead of staying on.

I have a separate HK3100 receiver that I bound with no issue to the radio on a different car with a stock AE ESC. I haven't found anyone with the same problem but with similar issues, people sometimes mention the BEC.

Never mind I'm dumb and should have researched more. For anyone keys having similar issues binding to a receiver, simply rerun the one touch setup on the ESC. Sorry for the post.

Also it's always a good idea to disconnect the motor wires prior to binding or setting end points on an esc!!
