Mamba 25 Programming Help
#1
I'm getting so frustrated with my old Mamba25 in my Micro RS4. I've run this identical setup for years without issue, but re-programmed the voltage cutoff so I could run a 3-cell lipo this summer, ran it, and put it away until today. Radio is a DX4S, SR300 receiver.
I re-bound, realized I needed to remove the cutoff, and tried to enter the programming mode. I hold throttle until the amber lights flash, about 8 seconds, release throttle, and get the amber sequenced flashes and beeps (menu item, then value setting). But if I don't touch anything for three or four seconds, it exits out of the programming menu and goes to normal ESC operation. So I figured the calibration must be off, so I tried recalibrating but with identical results. So I figured, perhaps, I should just start fresh, so I reset the DX4S model I was using and recalibrated, but it still doesn't work.
I've spent the past hour researching on multiple forums but still can't get this ESC to run through the programming mode to allow me to change the cutoff. Can anyone offer suggestions? I'd prefer to not get a new controller because this is such a light, compact unit, but it's showing its age.
