The app isn't working on any 4.4 device we've tried so far. Issue is in the AOS missing some OTG support structure. Other developers we talk to are also fighting the issue and working with Google to fix the problem.

You can clearly see it being an AOS issue on certain devices. My Samsung Tab2 10.1 for example. App runs great on 4.1.2 , but if I install 4.2.2 it won't work.

It was supposed to be a "Security" update but they've yet to complete the project is what we're told.

We've had it working on Iviews running 4.1 or lower the entire time. This fix that that is being tested should alleviate the AOS version issues we've had on 4.2 or newer.

My Iview is 4.2, came out of the box that way. Tried to find the software to reverse it back but was unable.

If what you are saying is you found a way to make it work that would be awesome.

My work phone is a HTC EVO and it powers up the ESC and the hotwire but the phone does not recognize it. It is 4.1.1 software.

Sooner or later it will work.

Android 4.4 comes with SE android enforcing if I recall. This could very well block applications from working. Try installing the selinux mode changer app to switch from enforcing to permissive mode on 4.4 devices. See here for more info https://www.xda-developers.com/andro...-selinux-mode/
