Default Speed Passion ESC configuration issue

I have the Reventon pro 1.0 with a 10.5R motor and im using the KO Propo EX1 radio, the issue i have is that i cant configure it to have reverse and almost no brakes.
I put the Forward/Reverse configuration on the ESC program and still no brakes or reverse.

What should i do?

You can try to reverse the channel on your remote (channel 2) and then recalibrate the remote to esc. Some esc's require the channel to be reversed. Just make sure to recalibrate after reversing the throttle channel or your remote could work backwards.

You recalibrate it before you turn it on.

On about 90% of escs i have known its goes like this.

Turn it on, but hold the power or program button depresssed, when it blinks, release the button, pull the throttle trig to full throttle and hold (set throttle endpoint)

It should blink or beep, then push the trig to full brake and hold (brake endpoint)

Then it blinks or beeps again and let the trig return to neutral (set neutral center point)

While your esc might be different, this is probably the sequence you should follow.

The correct calibration directions for a Speed Passion Reventon are on page 6 of the manual. In case you don't have a copy it's available here.

Neutral is neutral no matter what direction the channel is set to, so that said something went wrong with the recalibration.

Reverse the channel, then recalibrate according to your manual I.e the process in which it has you set neutral, full throttle, full brake set points.

Sounds like you calibrated your speed controller incorrectly. Your neutral point is set as forward/full throttle; I'd know as I have a Speed Passion ESC and experienced the same thing.

Thanks everyone for your help. I could set the esc correctly, now i have reverse.
I reversed the channel and followed the video instructions, my mistake was that i was pulling and pushing the trigger after the beeps not before the 2 and 3 beep.

Again, thanks everyone!
