I just recently acquired this controller and the person who I got it from did not have the drop down wheel attachment. After a somewhat serious look around for the part I have come to the conclusion that this optional part is not widely sold and seems to only come with the controller as am option part when you buy the whole controller.

My questions are:

1. Does anyone know where to get this attachment. I have even called futaba who was not much help

2. Can the 4pks-r drop down wheel attachment be used on the 3pks. I know it is a shot in the dark. I would just hope they constructed the steering wheel the same even though the controller looks completely different.

Let me know on ideas or if anyone has an extra 3pks drop down wheel attachment they can part with would be great

The radio is no longer produced so unless you have it in the kit you are out of luck. You can try Ebay. I have never seen this part sold separately since it came with the box.

The 4Pks is completely different and it will not fit. I have seen several people selling decent 3Pk's on ebay and I am thinking of getting a spare. I love this radio and hope I never have to replace it.
