thanks for validating my claim
Thanks for replying to post, Im still running combo in 22, I think it can run all day at blinky mode, but don't even think timing. I'm running 31 pinion and esc gets warm, but motor is always cool. I'll run it until it fries, then it's a tekin for me.

I have the 17.5 combo that came with my 22sct rtc. I've only used it in timing mode for one 5 minute race and it did fine. Hauled ass too. The rest of the time I ran it in blinky. It seems pretty fast in blinky mode. I'm gonna try it again in timing mode and take some temp readings

Thanks for more info
I'm still only running in blinky' very smooth and geared up to 32 pinion with no temp issues Are you in timing mode on esc and/or motor advance ?

I haven't touched the timing on the motor. I'm still running the 24 pinion it came with too. I'm going to start experimenting this weekend. I cant find any other info on this combo, so I guess we'll have to do it here

What spur are you running with the 32 pinion?

Stock
I was using the 32 with the stock 76 not sure which brand but might have been too tight moved to 31

The 22sct comes with a 78t spur, so I can't even fit a 30t pinion in there. With the can set to max timing, and a 27t pinion this thing hauls ass. I'm also running a Tekin Gen 2 13.5t motor and 22t pinion with this ESC sometimes. It is MUCH smoother with the dynamite ESC than with my Tekin RS ESC. And the temps after 5 minutes are in the 130's with either motor.

22 buggy
I'm running 22 buggy. Your the first I've heard to get timing to stay cool
Do u have it set on esc also ?

No, I run in blinky mode. But this is an excellent ESC for blinky. There's another guy at my track with the same setup, and he hangs with boosted tekins on the straight.

Blinky
I agree, in blinky mode this combo is very smooth
