Default Any ideas what this is?

Picked up a package of parts from another fellow and found this, no idea what it is. Can anyone identify it for me?

Cheers.

Temperature sensor for a charger.

Measures the temperature of the pack while charging.

Thanks man! Turns out I have a Hitec charger which supports this. Can't imagine it is really that useful.

So do you simply set the thing on the pack or do you have to attach it tightly?

I can not see it reading a good temp unless it was on there snug. In fact I would bet it would measure differently for a hard case lipo vs a soft lipo. But to put it on there just use a rubber band or strip of Velcro.

With it's round profile I would say it's for temping sub-c packs, not lipos.

Who temps their lipos while charging? I don't.
