Thanks YZracer. I was pretty sure it came with wire but wanted to get some trick pink wire or light blue so wanted to make sure I was ordering the right size.

Thanks Ron
My ESC is next to the 6.5 motor the wires are only 1.5" long and I use 14 GA wire but the battery wires are much longer so I use 12 GA.

Most of us team drivers have been receiving ours over the past few weeks, so I would say they are really close to a public release. I know Amain Hobbies is still showing a mid December release as well as Tower. I'm sure Randy Pike would have more of a solid answer.

That sounds good . I had an RSpro that was brand new that I sent it for the RSX but I keep hearing there is delays on certain things and can really get a straight answer . I heard release will be in the New Year ? I just really want to finish the build on my new buggy and get it running with the RSX lol

Hopefully someone here can have a straight answer

This is perfect. I'll get my new 22-4 and RSX at the same time, that way I won't have to mock up an rc car and pretend I'm building my new racer.....LOL!

I've always had difficulty soldering 12gw onto the RSpro posts. I already pre tin and flatten the wire with pliers, the slots just seem too small for the 12gw to get a nice clean solder connection. Anyone have any other tips that I might be missing?
Thanks Ron

Sounds like you're trying to shove the wire into the small post slots? I make a butt joint - don't squish the wire just pre tin each set the wire on top of the post and get a good shiny solder joint.

Like dski said above, you don't need to solder the wires into the slots, those are a solder cradle. On top is perfectly fine. Now on the RX8s, I do tin and squish the wires a little and they fit in those posts nicely. I use 12awg on everything.

Thanks for the info. I had watched a video on how to solder Tekin RX8 and I had just assumed because the post where slotted on the RSpro just like the RX8 that the solder technique was the same. Your explanation makes more sence because the slots are so small.
Now come on RSX, time to be released.......

Then again, if you really want it in the slots (but this was with 14 awg)....

Tekin posts are very easy to solder on to. I even soldered 10awg wire with no issues but I prefer 12awg.
