Default DX3R PRO or M12?

Getting back into racing with the onset of the TLR 22 2.0. I am now looking into upgrading some of my electronics. In this case I am trying to determine if an Airtronics M12 is really worth the additional cost over a Spektrum DX3R PRO?

I figure they both work, but what do I gain for the $200 if I was to purchase an M12?

As a side note are the Airtronics servos which also seem a little on the expensive side actually any better?

Thanks for your input.

What about a m11x or mt4 from airtronics? they are both cheaper than the m12.

Not really a great comparison, your talking the Sanwa uber end model vs something that won't touch it for build or features.

But like has been said, MT4 is a 'very' popular model, for speed and feel it's a much better bit of gear vs the Spektrum, actually a lot of people buy the MT4 vs getting a M12, cause the 4 is compact and light, with just about everything you will ever need.

Thanks for the input, was never really afraid of the price, just trying to understand what the differences were. I will likely jump into an M12, in the past I really enjoyed my M8.

Off to determine what servo I will run with it.
