Default Parallel Charge High "C" Different Capacities

Hi,

I'm looking at getting into parallel charging but with different mAh capacities. I understand that if the capacities are different you add them all up to get the required Amps - EXAMPLE: 5000mAh + 3850mAh = 8.8Amps but this is based on a 1C charge rate. What happens if the packs can be charged at different C ratings (5000mAh=25Amps@5C, 3850mAh=30.8Amp@8C). Can I just set my charger to it's maximum charge rate 20Amps and both batteries will reach full capacity or do I HAVE to charge at 1C?

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

You should charge at the lowest charge rate of the two batteries.
