Default Speed Passion Sensor unit +40

Does anyone know if I put a speed passion +40 sensor board into a regular SP V3 17.5, do I need to get a new endbell to allow for more rotation of the sensor? or does the sensor board just make the +10 setting a +40 setting.
In other words, the sensor rotates the same amount but gives more timing with the +40 board installed.

Thanks

As I understand it the board goes in with the current endbell. The timing is built into the sensor board, the endbell doesn't need to be rotated more.
