OK. I'll check it out tonight. Thanks.

I'm getting readings of about 8.35V to 8.36V (confirmed with a volt meter). This sound right?
Yes. This does sound normal. My 308Duo charges to 4.2v per cell...then says its done. Once the battery settles, the readings are about 4.18 or 4.19 something. You can OVERCHARGE to 4.21 or more, but you are doing exactly that...overcharging.

IMO....I personally see no reason to worry about this unless you are running some kind of highly regulated on-road class where every millisecond matters amd battery voltages are being tech'd. In off-road, we are so over-powered, and over-batteried typically....it just doesnt seem to make a difference.

I have a couple questions.
Does the 308duo come with a temp sensor?
Being the first time using a temp sensor is it plug and play or is the some setting up(beside the temp cutoff you want)?
If it doesn't come with one where can i find one and is it brand specific?

No it doesn't come with a temp sensor. No idea where you would get one either. What do you need a temp sensor for?

One side of my 308D has begun acting up. I have had it about 2 months. It has stopped balancing, either on charge or balance only. I swapped leads to trouble shoot, but it continues to charge forever, without balancing. I tried refreshing the settings and it is still not functioning. I ordered it from www.heli-heli.com and have sent a request into them for information about warranty repair/exchange. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how were you able to get it repaired? I can't seem to find a way to contact jun-si, and I know some retailers want you to deal with the manufacturer when it comes to defective products.

I want to hammer cycle my 2s packs on both ports at the same time on 30 amps. What size supply do I need? My current one will do it with one cells but not two.

Around 50 amps with about 800 watts output

I've read some places that you can tweak the settings on the 308 Duo to get a very-close-to 4.2 volts / cell charge. At first I thought it was the "slow balance" mode, but I'm not sure. Is there a way to tell the charger to take a bit longer but to try to get the cells to as close to 4.2 volts as possible?

All the ichargers have the ability to fine tune the end balance mode from fast to slow and as close/near as possible, so yes put it on slow, and it will spend more time doing that final bleed off and balance stage to get it bang on 4.2V per cell.

Oh, cool, thanks! I admit to never realizing this with my 206B, but when I looked for it the setting was definitely there. I'm loving the 308 so far, but still getting used to the UI. I appreciate the tip!

The iChargers charge very fast. And I dont mean the amps. They seem to spend way less time balancing than other brands.

I love my 206B for sure, but I had it set to "normal" balancing speed and my packs were never quite 4.2 per cell. For the most part I don't care, but if I can get closer to 4.2 for heated competitions, I'm all game. I got the 308 Duo since it's more flexible and will let me multi-task, but I'd like to benefit from the better balancing on it too.

I also have two 900 watt power supplies which I got for $60 each from a guy on Helifreak, in series I have 1800 watts @ 24 volts

Totally But it's a deal that can't be beat, check it out: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=526901

I was getting ready to spend $400 on a 1200 watt power supply when I came across that thread. Those 900 watt units are super quiet, small and work great. Both come with banana plugs and a cable to wire them in series if needed.
