Hello everyone
After a 3 years break i back to racing. I used old standard servos, which only last futaba still working good. Now i plan to change all servos in my xray buggy. My question is which are the best qualifying on speed torque and durable. I have good experiance with kopropo servos so what about Kopropo RSX? Most durable up for now is futaba which still working but this S9353 is hard to find in good price (under 200$ except tax etc.) And the last brand which i am thinking about is new Orion servos, any opinion about it. Maybe there is some other servo on which i should take a look. Second question is what combination you recommend speed servo for steering and power for throttle or both speed, power servos.
with regards
Michael

Savox high voltage servos have been pretty good to me so far. I have had mine in my buggy for almost 2 years with no issues. I was running hitec in all my rides but it seemed I would lose every 2-3 months. Hitec was always good on replacing them. For the price IMO Savox works great.

Thanks, I do wonder why they don't make the high end units waterproof? I'm not intentially getting it wet but just incase. I guess they are intended for helicopters. Hopefully I will never need to replace mine but I still want to learn about every option in case I do.

Years ago Hitec was not in the same league as the higher end brands. Once they came out with their Titanium line (5995/5955) around 2006 that all changed. I have literally ran the same Hitec 5995/5955/7955 for years and years. I pretty much lock my servo savers down. Does not phase them. Hitec 7955 is THE 1/8th scale servo for most people.
