VTA Possibly other classes in the future charging set up?
OK, at the risk of sounding stupid I'm running in VTA. I'm only using 2 cell LiPo 5000 mAh batteries. I'm currently only running in this class however could see my self jumping into off road Short Course trucks (not sure what type of lipos they are running). Anyway I'm looking at buying a good charger as my last cheap one and a battery went up in a ball of fire and smoke, melted my car and all my equipment and almost started my house on fire. I'm not afraid to spend good money however was just wondering if I'm sticking to these type classes, do I need a DC Charger and Power Supply or will a AC charger work. As far as I can tell by reading other posts it seems that the AC chargers work well but just take longer to charger certain types of batteries. Or do the separate DC chargers with Power Supplies offer that much better and safer charges. Either way I would like the capability to charge at least two batteries at one time. I would love to hear your opinions on what AC or DC charger and power supply combo to get. I have around 300.00 or so to spend unless that is way overkill for what I'm doing. Thanks and sorry for the long worded post just over whelmed at the charger power supply conundrum.

Glad to hear your safe and you didn't lose everything. I have the medion by venom. Has 2 charging ports each at 10 amps. Also has built in speakers, and a usb port to charge your phone. It really has everything for a charger.
Alot of people may not suggest it but its a steal at 150 to me. Only thing is you need a Power supply for it, I converted a old pc power supply that I got for free. I'm sure you could snag an already converted power supply or have some one make you one. I know ebay has the server power supplies already converted for sale.
This charger has been great tho, came with every type of major connection plus 2 deans, and 2 balance boards in the box. Venom also included a temp sensor, which is a plus.
