Brushless motor help
I'm in the middle of an electric conversion. I have two motors I'm looking at, they are roughly the same price new. But I found a Hobbywing motor for $50 used. Is the Leopard worth the extra $50 for the immense power it makes?
The power difference is way different but it kind of makes me think one if over rated maybe?? It's going in a LST2 conversion for 6s lipo. 1st is the Leopard 4092 1480kv Specifications Max Amps: 115A Max Volt-age: 23V Max Power: 4200W KV(RPM/Volt): 1480KV Resist-ance: 0.097 No-load Current(15V): 3.8A Mount-ing hole depth: 7mm Length of extend Shaft: 20mm Shaft Diameter(mm):5.0mm Weight: 492g Suitable Model: RC Car 2nd is the Hobbywing Xerun 4074 1800kv 90060030 (Blue) 1800 width 42 length 74 shaft diameter 5 max input26V watts 1300W |
why even post up the "specs"? the only thing that is listed in the same category is the shaft diameter. if its a 50 dollar differance thats quite significant and would go with the cheaper one, 50 dollars can buy a lot.
