Default Lipo reciever pack?

Hi, I have a question. I just bought a car with a 1200mah lipo receiver pack, without a voltage regulator. I was wondering if anyone has ran NON high voltage servos with a lipo receiver pack/without a regulator?

I have, with a Traxxas 2,200mah lipo. Stock T-Maxx, with Ross wireless remote start, no receiver battery at all other than the lipo and a 2075 steering servo and the stock brake/ throttle servo. It handled it just fine, until I sold it 2 months later. You will need a low lipo monitor, because believe it or not, the car consumes more than you think. Using a Traxxas link radio with a 2218 (X) receiver. Do it at you're own risk.
Eta, my avatar is the Maxx I did this on. 4910 with a 2.5R.

Some servos take it, others dont.
