Default Need help with Orion programmer

Guys I need help. I have the 1s esc (5101) and it needs a special adapter to plug into the Esc that did not come with it. One end is a standard receiver plug that goes into the programmer. The other end is the sensor plug that goes into the sensor outlet on the Esc.

Anyone know where I can find one of those? The programmer works fine on my 2s r10 esc.

Thanks

the adapter comes with the esc's. Did you buy them (esc's) new?

I would assume AMain would have the adapter for sale separate.

edit...I don't see the adapter on Amain..sorry

Don't know what to tell ya then. Like I said the adapter/plug comes with the esc's, not the programer. Why I don't know but that's the way they do it.

Download the latest software from Orion's site and install it on your PC, connect your programmer using the usb cable to your PC and fire up the Orion program on your PC. Go to the tab at the top of the program and click on device then select program box. That will open the section to update your box with the newest software.

Programmer screen should say "connecting to pc" or something like that when hooked to your home computer. You say you keep running the file? Not sure what you mean, You downloaded the newest Orion software and then installed it on your PC right?

Yea downloaded file them kept opening the files or run file this black screen comes out and little white lines keep moving up and down like if it was loading something but at the same time the programmer stays on with a display of current software

It doesn't sound like the programmer box can connect to the PC because the Orion software isn't running right. You should be able to install the Orion program on your PC and open it without anything hooked up, can you? You have to be able to launch the Orion software on your PC before anything else will work as far as updating your box and such. Honestly not sure what you have going on, hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject will chime in.

No you don't need the ESC hooked up to update the program box with your PC.
