Been doing some digging and I'm starting to think you may need the new Orion Dsbr+ box to make it work on the new R8.1 but I'm not positive. Found this about the other fairly new 1/8 ESC.

Jesus I can't afford that right now and why wouldn't orion just release the software to work on the new esc all bad I went thru all this trouble for nothing smh I need a cold one now lol
