Cool Motor help???

I'm getting a TLR SCTE 2.0 and i'm getting a tekin motor but which one should I get???? The tekin pro4 hd 4300kv or the pro4 4600kv. I want motor with explosive acceleration and great top end with a 2s lipo which is what my track allows if I get 1 of the 2 motors they will be paired with a tekin rx8 gen 2 esc!!! thanks

The pro4 is a 540 size, while the HD is a 550. The HD will have even more torque than the pro4 so the lower kv can be countered by gearing up. The only downside is the HD is heavier so if you were looking for the best handling, the pro4 would be the way to go. If you are looking for the most power, the HD hands down.

Hobby Wing 4700 SC motor and save $60. Put a Tekin sticker on it if it makes you feel better.

+1 on the PRO4, a 4000kv motor may be more usable. The 4600kv is over the top for power and can be a handfull to use at the track. Either one you'll never be searching for more.

The HD is way overkill. Unless your super smooth with the throttle, the regular Pro4 is the better choice.
