Default what amp to charge at

I have an older vision peak charger And there's a 2 amp and 4 amp setting I'm charging a 5000mah battery.so my question is what would be the better amp to charge this battery at? Thanks for any responds

It would be "better" for that battery to charge at 2 amps.... but it will be happy with 4 amps as well. As a general rule.... a slower less powerful charge is always best for the battery's health and will prolong it's life. Most people wold choose the 4 amp charge as it's near a healthy normal 1C charge rate and would be quicker than 2 amps. I say if you have time to wait though.. go slow as possible.

HUH? You should know what your talking about before slapping up posts..

First of all, that charger (while plugged into a 115-120V wall) will only charge at 2 amps. It will charge at 4 amps if you have a power supply and use the banana plugs.

OP, it doesn't matter what setting you have that charger on while plugged into a wall, it will only charge at 2 amps. If you did have a power supply and wanted to charge your pack at 4 amps you will be perfectly fine.
