Android phone control RC vehicle multifunction

This’s my first experiment about use Android smartphone to control RC vehicle.
i was build my own android app for run on Android smart phone.
my app name is ADT79 JoyBlue RC.

ADT79 JoyBlue RC features:
+ control via bluetooth with max range 10 meters
+ 2 joystick 4 axis. Joy1 axis-X1 axis-Y1, Joy2 axis-X2 axis-Y2
+ 8 function switch

i add small bluetooth module with 9TURBO RC sound & light control unit.
and write new firmware for control allthings by bluetooth instead of RC servo signal.
my modified RC S&L control unit have this feature . . .
+ control it via bluetooth
+ 3 channel for servo control
+ 8 channel for lamp set control
+ engine, exhaust, horn sound

my android smartphone is Lenovo A820
CPU: MT6589 Cortex-A7 Quad Core 1.2GHz
GPU: PowerVR SGX544
OS: Android V4.1.2 Jelly Bean
Display: 4.5″ QHD, 960 x 540, 16M Colors, IPS-LCD
Connection: Bluetooth, wi-fi, 3G HSPA/HSPA+, Edge/GPRS, USB
Sensors: GPS, G-sensor, P-sensor, L-sensor

This experiment is my first step, but i think this’s a big step of me.
because of, now i have knowledge to control many things with my android smartphone via bluetooth.

i want to have telemetry feature in my ADT79 BT-RC system.
i start to development for this feature on few days ago.
until to this night June 7,2013.
my RC S&L control modified unit have ability to send battery’s voltage value and temperature value
to show on Android smartphone in perfectly.

i add socket for temperature sensor and for RPM sensor to my RC S&L control unit.
and add circuit for detect battery voltage(i use R divider).
and write firmware for support these sensors.
now i can send battery voltage value and tempareture value to android smartphone via bluetooth.
the next step, i will do support for RPM sensor.

Experiment #2 Control and Telemetry system

This experiment, i’m testing the telemetry system. for control unit supply voltage, motor temperature, motor RPM.

Control steering R/C servo, R/C Electronic Speed Control, Lamp sets, Horn sound, engine/exhaust sound.
