I am going to be getting a kyosho zx5 fs2 very soon and I need recommendations for a speed control. I will be running a novak 8.5 for a little bit till I save up for a reedy sonic mach 2 7.5. I will be running a savox 1257 servo. I was thinking a orion r10 pro or a lrp flow works. is there anything else that is just as smooth as these two? I am also kind of on a budget so if its cheaper than those 2 and comparable in performance it should be good.

I agree r10. If the r10 is too much the HW V3. same performance with less $

Speed Passion is nice as well.

i have ran a rs pro and a hw reventon pro. i really like the reventon pro its alot like the orion.

IIRC and from what I know the Reventon isn't HW. But I don't exactly know if or how Speed Passion and HW are connected.

I'm not sure either but I know I can use my sp program card on a hw with no issues. I have heard that hw Orion and sp are produced at the same plant.

Orion r10s are Hobbywing OEM escs. Same as some speed passion escs. It's funny when people think hobbywing is some cheap brand when they actually make some of the industry's best escs.

^I heard that and that the orion program box I guess works on the hobbywing esc. maybe I will get one of those for next indoor season!
