Default esc and motor timing

So I was looking at my esc settings and comparing them to my motor timing, which is one-click to the left past middle. Is there a general rule of thumb or best practice to follow when "matching" these up?

I have a HW Xerun 60a + a Orion 10.5T vortex motor.
Boost timing is 6deg.
TurboOpen Time to fastest
Turbo Timing is 12deg.
TurboOpen delay is .1sec.

I found this but only helped a little:
