I still use one consistently for the nostalgic race feel. If I'm running 1s it's all I'll use. My PL8 does a nicer job probably, but doesn't feel or look the same
That's what I thought. I have a chance to buy a slightly used, but lipo-updated one.

I dont know the max wattage is on the discharge. Thats why its varies with the voltage of the battery.

I saw the same numbers on the one I looked at today discharging a 1s and 2s pack after a run. Does anyone have access to a 308 duo to perform the same check? I'm mostly interested in the discharge abilities when only connected to a power supply.

Hey Andrew. I just bought one. I had it at mikes today, but haven't tried any discharging. I just got my big power supply in today after racing so I hope to try a few different things. I was using a small 25A 250 watt one today and was scared I was going to push it to hard. My new supply is a 70a 850watt so if you want to get together one day and try it out let me know.

Cool, thanks. I'll be there Monday, and I'll bring a couple packs by to try if you're there and you don't mind.

ok, I guess I have missed something. Whats wrong with the CE chargers when charging lipos? I have a stealth edition that I use to discharge before I charge at 30 amps on my TP 1430. What should I be aware of?

If the circuit breaker cut-off and then turns on or a power surge the CE chargers will start automatically charging.

This cause some lipo fires at some big races.

I have the 4010 and I believe it is 130watts on the charger on power supply(size of power supply does not improve discharge - I use 24v at 47amps)

the pass thru discharge has some much bigger possibilites but i have done anything with that yet
