Default Question about my servo(s)...

I have an old HPI RS4 Rally and a 2WD Traxxas Slash. I upgraded the servo in my slash to the Savox SC-1258TG. I took the stock servo from my slash and I put it in the HPI RS4 Rally. I also picked up the traxxas receiver and put that in my HPI as well so I can use one remote.

Here is the problem I am having with both cars. The Savox servo in my Slash keeps making a buzzing noise even when I am not turning the wheel and when its almost to lock position most of the time it will glitch a bit and stumble then hit its full lock. I even made sure the servo was centered and I set the end points too.

For my HPI it does the same thing with the Traxxas receiver and Slash servo but it also cuts my ESC out when it re-centers its self. If I just let it go it cuts out but if I slowly return it to the center position it doesn't cut out.

Some people have told me to get a glitch buster and other people have said to get a BEC for my cars. Would either one fix my problem?

With your savox servo, a glitch buster is all you need unless your esc bec puts out jack squat. when you lift the front end of your slash, does the buzz go away? If not it could be the servo itself. try finding another servo and see if it does the same thing. As for the your hpi, it could be the esc not putting out enough juice. just find a decent hitec servo on ebay.

I hear the Savox servos are very power hungry and will cause all kinds of issues if they don't get enough power.

in my slash with the savox servo I am running the stock ESC it came with. Its the XL5.

My HPI I am using a really old Novak Fusion haha. I thought it should be able to put out enough power for the stock servo that comes in the Slash.
