Default Minimum servo requirements for each class?

I think we'd all love to have the best servos ever, but what is enough, and for each type of car or truck? Some of the replies I've read in other threads seem overkill. Steering and/or throttle for both types of racers.

1/8 On-Road
1/8 Buggy
1/10 Buggy
1/10 Touring
1/10 Pan
Short Course
Monster Truck
ETC.

I ask for everyone. I'm sure others on a budget would like to know.

From what I'm reading, 124oz. of torque is not enough for 1/8 Buggy. On the other end, I raced with the same S3305 for steering in my R40/MTX3/RRR a few years ago and used an S3004 for throttle/braking. I know some people would cringe. lol I did get around the track.

I'd use a JR9100S in every one of those classes. It is overkill.

I have also had great results using Align 620 and Savox 1257 servos.

I saw your original post and thought, "Wow, there went $400."
