Default New battery question........

I just picked up 2 new RevTech 100c shorties and want to start things off right...

What is the max amp most charge their batteries to?

Also do most of you guys cycle new Lipos as a break - in? If so how do you go about that? Charge to what amp and then discharge to what amp? And how many cycles are recommended?

I'm sorry if some of you view these questions as ignorant, but if you don't ask what you don't know you will never learn..........

Thank you in advance for any help it is greatly appreciated.

Lipo's don't need break-in cycles anymore. There should be a label on the pack that states the max charge C rate. Most lipo's are 5C minimum. I personally will not go over a 3C charge rate. The main thing is to just keep a watch on the battery temp while charging. The max temp during charging is 113*.
