According to tower the esc's are on order, my guess is within a few weeks to late april:

When I signed up for rc tech I must have missed the check box that requires you to complain about every post or topic possible? Keep up the good work Tekin lookin forward to the new gen 2 esc!!!!!!

The new ESC is nice, however I don't like the price point. $175.00 for a speedo with 8.5 limit is too high. One could spend slightly more and buy a ESC that will do it all as one progresses in the hobby with mod motors etc. Novak did the same thing they have a mild mod motor limit and a full mod esc with a ten dollar price difference. I realize the mild motor esc is smaller, however for me I can make do with a little bigger esc, If it means I can have one to do whatever I may decide to do at a later date. Still love the Tekin brand and the company, just don't like the direction the hobby in general seems to be taking with stock/mod esc.

The BEC is nice, but unfortunately you won't be able to use it at 7.4v on 2s lipos.
6.6 is about the highest you will go, unless you want to lose steering under hard acceleration. The problem is your batteries will dip below 6.6 during a race longer than 5 mins.

That is inaccurate. You will get 7.4v or more when using the HV setting. Sure if you run your batteries down to low voltage cut off that may occur. However this is not often the case.
