Default what type of fail safe do you use?

Hello,

I'm wondering what type of fail safe you use on your transmitter? brake only? brake + steering? if so how much?

i dont like having a car go to brakes for a failsafe. I set it to full neutral with steering. Its better to be able to let the car roll and still be steerable than to have it hit full brake on the back straight and make it stationary with oncoming drivers.

Agree. Worse case might even go spinning in front of traffic. Not that free roll is great of course.

Saw near disaster with an electric 1/8 last summer set on full brakes. Guy set it down on the side, walked up to the line at the drivers stand and got into a conversation. Turned off the radio for some reason, meanwhile he forgot it still had reverse turned on for practice....yikes. Not the first time I've seen similar.

ok good to know, I have three options: choosing "free", "hold" or a personnal setting

which one would you recommend for throttle and steering?
