Default Just wanting some opinions.

I am looking at new servos for my new truggy. I have a hitec 7950 in my sc8 and really like it. I would like to stay with hitec as I have had good luck. My question is weather to go with the 7950 or the 7955 for steering? I don't use lipos so really don't need the high voltage but would but nice to have the option if I decide to go with lipos in the future. Next question is what to go with for throttle I was looking at the 7940 but don't know anyone that has used one,or if there would be a better option? Thanks for any advise guys

I run 7955's in both my nitro and e truggy for steering. It's my go to servo....decent speed and great torque. I've also ran the Savox 1256TG for buggy and truggy steering with good success.

7955TG is one of the steering servo's of choice for a large amount of racers....it's tried and true. The 7965MG is also one of the most popular Throttle servo's to pair with it due to it's speed and reasonable strength.

So you would recommend the 7965MG over the 7940 for throttle and brake?

7940 is probably a little overkill on Throttle\Brake, at least price wise. It will definitely work fine though.

The 7965MG is proven to be more than adequate and costs quite a bit less. It's what a lot of people are using, and it's super durable.
